Coasters, coasters, coasters!

These coasters are so easy to make and they've been a great project to use up a bunch of my fabric, ribbon and wadding left overs. Am planning to give them out as Christmas presents.

I recently came across a coaster tutorial (link is at the bottom of post) and thought I'd use up some of my quilting leftovers and give it a try.

Another heat pack

A couple at work asked if I could make them two fitted heat wheats. I didn't have a pattern or picture to go by, so it was interesting trying to figuring it all out. I forgot to take a picture of the second one, it was pretty well identical except that I used a blue feature fabric rather than the pink.

I was pretty pleased with the end result, and the couple have reported back that they work really well :)

Sun Visor

On the way to work the sun goes right into Josh's eyes, even with the sun visor turned to the driver side window... so I made this random thingy to extend the sun visor. It's nothing special, I just used a cut out bit from a cereal box reinforce it and a bit of elastic so it would "hold on" to the sunvisor.
